What an April we've had, and such a cold start to May. first time I've ever had to brave a drought with a rain mac and brolly!

My name is Cathy Fairgrieve and jewellery making is my passion. I love to create beautiful, unique pieces and I get so much pleasure from passing on the skills I have developed to other people.

I run a variety of house-party style jewellery making classes and workshops in my Wiltshire home, Vines House, near Royal Wootton Bassett, delicious food included! Chicken and sheep feeding are optional extras!

I offer children's jewellery making birthday parties in your home, giving the young guests a chance to make real jewellery with glass beads and metal components using the proper tools.

I make special pieces to commission as well as wedding jewellery and tiaras to your own requirements. If you have a picture or sketch or an outfit to match, or just a vague idea in your head, I can help turn that into a unique piece of jewellery for you. I have some great ideas for wedding favours too!

For jewellery makers, I have lots of lovely beads and findings, including tibetan silver beads and charms, indian glass, chinese crystal, cloisonne and semi-precious stones, as well as a range of jewellery kits for sale. My low overheads mean I can sell to you at very competitive prices. The items in my webshop are just a small selection of what I have on offer. If you live locally, just call me to arrange to come and see for yourself and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit whilst you browse.

My guests and customers mostly come from the following areas: Swindon, Royal Wootton Bassett, Chippenham, Marlborough, Malmesbury, Tetbury, Cirencester, Calne, Devizes, Melksham, Bath, Bristol and surrounding villages.

Hen parties and Prom princess parties are two of my other favourites. These can be at my home or at the venue of your choice. Gift vouchers are available for all my workshops and classes.

Get yourself some FREE jewellery by booking a hostess party in your home, where your guests can choose their special pieces, browse for gifts or commission something special. As hostess you will then receive 10% of sales value in jewellery as a thank you, as well as a 10% discount on any further jewellery you would like to buy, or on a future workshop booking.

I can bring my jewellery stall along to your event, and for charities, such as schools or playgroups I donate 10% of sales in cash.
